Apart from the main event and the co-main event, the fights in the main card of UFC 201 are those which cannot have an immediate impact on their respective division. The flyweight fight between Ian McCall and Justin Scoggins will open the main card and unless Scoggins gets a win, this fight is not going to shake up the flyweight division.

Similarly, the Francisco Rivera vs. Eric Perez and Matt Brown vs. Jake Ellenberger have a similar story. All four fighters have a point to prove, so as isolated entities, these are fights worth tuning into. However, as far as changing the landscape of their respective division, these fights are clearly not going to do that, at least for the time being.
