Jeje Lalpekhlua's neighbour Ruata on trial at Mohun Bagan
RUATA,A VILLAGE NEIGHBOUR of Jeje Lalpekhlua, is trying to follow his footsteps by becoming a Mohun Bagan player.
A winger by trade, Ruata has been a part of Mohun Bagan's residential academy in Durgapur for the last 2 years. And this summer he has been brought over for a trial at the Mohun Bagan Ground for a place in the club's first team in the upcoming Calcutta Football League.
Ruata is one of about half a dozen academy cadets who are sweating it out every morning at the club ground. And by the looks of it, he might be catching coach Shankarlal Chakraborty's attention.
If all goes according to plan then there's a chance that Bagan fans might get to see Jeje and Ruata side by side in the starting line-up of their team in the upcoming I-League season.
