Jon Jones out of UFC 200
This was the start of everything. When everyone expected this the least, USADA came out saying that Jon Jones has tested positive. The announcement drove everyone into crazy mode and though Jones had the ability to test the B-sample (Which he is doing by the way), as the event was just two days away, Jones was cut from the card.
Jones later came out saying that he did not knowingly take any substance and made it clear that he will be back if he is forced to serve a ban.
“I want to apologize to all the fans who came out to support me for UFC 200, the UFC, the Fertittas. I want to apologize to Daniel Cormier. I know this fight means a lot to him. It means a lot to me,” Jones said.
The Jones saga is far from over and we could see it unfold in the coming days.
