TJ Dillashaw vs. Rafael Assuncao

Ratish: TJ Dillashaw via TKO

This is a rematch from a prior meeting involving the two men from nearly 3 years back, voted the Fight of the Night, which was won by Assuncao via a split decision.

But the Dilashaw that we saw in that fight can easily be termed as a fighter who was still evolving into becoming the world-beater that he did less than a year later. That fact coupled with Assuncao coming off a long layoff owing to injury, has the fight leaning in the favour of the former UFC bantamweight champion T J Dilashaw

Aditya: TJ Dillashaw via TKO

Their first fight could have gone Dillashaw's way, had it not perhaps been in Brazil, but I just don't see how Assuncao can pull off the victory this time around.

Dillashaw wasn't half the fighter he is now when they first fought, and Assuncao is also coming into the fight after a long lay-off.

I expect the fight to play out similarly to the Dillashaw-Barao encounters.

Sumit:  TJ Dillashaw via Unanimous decision

Last time these two fought Assuncao got the nod in a controversial decision. The fight was close, but TJ has just grown as fighter since. He is the faster of the two and more elusive. I think TJ will leave no doubt in anybody’s mind and win this fight convincingly.

Renjith: TJ Dillashaw via TKO

When it comes to experience, Assuancao might have almost twice the number of fights than Dillashaw but this fight is not going to be about experience. It is going to be about the traps that Dillashaw will lay down with his fluid footwork. Dillashaw is known to make such traps and then unleash his offensive aggression on his opponents.

Although Assuancao holds a win over Dillashaw, we all know that if anyone stands a chance of defeating Dillashaw at his point, it is Dominic Cruz.
