Fedor Emelianenko should think twice about UFC return after his Fabio Maldonado fight

Fedor Emelianenko is a legend. No one is going to argue about it. In fact, no one actually has an argument against this. That is why when the rumors about his potential return to UFC poked up, everyone started losing their mind.
These rumors ended up getting a big boost when Fedor’s return fight against Fabio Maldonado, which took place in Russia at an event called EF50, was shown live on the UFC fight pass.
EF50 was a different experience altogether. There was live orchestra; some over the top performances, (all of which could give WWE's WrestleMania a run for their money) rave Russian music for almost half of the time, and some solid fights. And one thing that deserves a special mention is the English commentator that sparked off a series of trolls on the Social Media platform.
And after almost five hours of all these, the main event between Fedor and Fabio started. Just like the fights that happened before it, this one also had epic entrances. But what made everyone talk was the fight that followed.
Fedor was almost destroyed by Fabio in the first round when the latter landed some huge strikes and forced Fedor to the floor. Fedor, however, thanks to a better cardio, came back in the second round and took it despite some offense from Fabio.
Both seemed visibly tired heading into the third round and the round had some back-and-forth exchange. When the fight ended, Fedor was awarded a controversial win with the score of 29-28, 29-28 and 28-28.
Many had the conclusion that Fedor, at best, would’ve got a draw, but when he was announced as the winner, Twitter exploded.
The judges have also been assigned by the Russian MMA Union, which Fedor is president of. Something to keep in mind.

#EFN50 man that was the most fixed fight I've ever seen and I'm a pro-wrestling fan

After watching it again, I think even Kim Winslow would've stopped the fight when Fedor looked like a baby giraffe on roller skates. #EFN50

Lol of course. Fedor Emelianenko gets the W via majority decision.

Utter joke. Maldonado deserved at least a draw. Home cooked judging is alive and well.

After his performance yesterday, it will be safe to say that he is not the fighter that he used to be and he should think twice about his rumored return to UFC as he could scar his legacy by stepping into the octagon with a legitimate Heavyweight in the current UFC roster.
