Why a wrestling fan should subscribe to the WWE Network

WWE sparked off a revolution in the wrestling business back in 2014 when they introduced the WWE Network. Two years later, the Network is still going strong and has completely transformed the way in which WWE delivers content to their fans.

The subscription-based video streaming service, which was initially started in the United States, is now available in a string of nations including the likes of Australia, Canada, Mexico, Spain and more.

WWE Network changed the business

Changing the pay-per-view business

During the early days of the Network, most of the fans assumed that the vast library of old content that WWE had was going to be the major attraction of the Network. While this prospect of searching and seeing all these nostalgic shows is indeed mouthwatering, what has set apart the Network is its original programing and the availability of pay-per-views.

While outside the Network, someone would need to pay around (or more than) $50 for a pay-per-view, the Network provides the same pay-per-view for just $9.99 per month. And not only the pay-per-view, one also gets access to the vast video library of WWE along with the original content that WWE produces for the Network.

So the next obvious question is: (for the one’s that does not subscribe to the WWE Network yet), what original content does WWE provide in the Network?

The original content

WWE has come up with the concept of Network Exclusives which are only shown on the WWE network. These are usually WWE Live events made just for the purpose and usually are headlined by exciting bouts that we don’t get to see on the weekly programming.

The Network is filled with original content

Apart from this, they come up with documentaries like WWE 24, Beyond the Ring, Swerved, The Edge And Christian Show, Stone Cold Podcast and many other that gives us a deeper look into how the wrestling business works and at the same time, lets us know how our favorite superstars are in real life situations.

The upcoming Cruiserweight classic

The most recent reason to subscribe the WWE Network is hands down the Cruiserweight Classic. The upcoming tournament is going to boast 32 of the most talented Cruiserweight wrestlers from all around the world and it is bound to produce some Match of the year contenders.

The Cruiserweight Classic boasts some excellent talent

Exciting names like Zack Sabre Jr., The Bollywood boys (Harv Sihra and GurvGargano, Johnny Gargano, TJ Perkins, former WWE star Tajiri, Tony Nese, Noam Dar and more will be seen inside a WWE ring and the entire tournament will be available for the Network Subscribers.

In short, WWE Network is heaven if you are a wrestling fan. With tons of content that will keep you rooted to the screen, the Network has indeed changed the way fans see Wrestling and the best part is that the service is still growing.
