Former WWE Superstar Chyna Found Dead At Home

Big loss to the wrestling business

According to her management team, former WWE superstar Joanie Laurer popularly known as Chyna has passed away.

The management team of the 45-year-old wrestling legend posted the following message on her official Social Media accounts.

"It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Chyna was found dead at her home. Chyna was one of the revolutionary figures in the wrestling business during the Attitude Era. She was one of the original members of the cult stable D-Generation X and also went on to achieve certain things that no other woman achieved in the WWE.

Chyna also had a short stint in TNA before she transitioned into a career in Reality television and also tried her hand in porn. She had been taking medication for anxiety and sleep disorder but the real cause of her death is yet to be officially revealed.

The death of Chyna, however, is indeed a big loss to the wrestling business and it would be interesting to see whether WWE would acknowledge the same as they had blacklisted her due to her pornographic career.
