Good to see pitches helping pacers in Dhaka, would love to see the same in World T20: Varun Aaron

INDIAN PACER VARUN AARON has been out of the Indian side for quite some time now. Injuries and inconsistency have always been a matter of concern for the quickie and his fans. However, Aaron has been enjoying the seamer-friendly wickets in the ongoing Asia Cup T20 in Bangladesh and also expressed his views on the same.

As we have seen in the past, the 28-year-old has always enjoyed bowling on the responsive wickets and speaking to TOI the pacer added,

"There are flat pitches everywhere now, even in Australia and South Africa. So, it is good to see pitches helping pacers in Dhaka."

On asked whether he would love to see similar tracks in the upcoming World T20 the Jharkhand-bowler said,

"If you ask me as a bowler, yes I would love to see such pitches in World T20 at home which challenge batsmen. However, in T20 cricket, fans come to the stadium to see fours and sixes. As a fan, I too love to see the big hits.”

Aaron last played for India in the Bangalore Test in November where he cleaned up South Africa's Hashim Amla with a peach of delivery. The match was a complete disaster as it was continuously marred by rain.
