Brandon out of action for at least a month after sustaining injury against Sporting

ALL'S NOT WELL WITH Brandon Fernandes as he has been ruled out for a month to may be the rest of the reason. The Mohun Bagan player who was part of the scoresheet against Sporting de club Goa injured his left knee in a reckless challenge.

He was taken out on a stretcher and was rushed to the hospital where then the doctor had ruled out any threatening injury. But now according to sources he will need rest as the X-ray reports suggest partial tear which will keep him out for long.

This comes as a blow to Bagan as he won't be playing in the AFC cup match against South China.
