Want to visit India in 2016, would also like to play IPTL with Federer: Murray

ANDY MURRAY ENJOYED playing with and against the current and former greats of the game in the ongoing International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) and was also successful in beating Roger Federer a few days back in Dubai. The Brit has now expressed his keenness on teaming up with the Swiss maestro in the future.

"I'd love to play with Roger one time. It would be nice," Murray said. "I played with Novak a couple of times when we were younger. If ever (Federer) wants to play, I'd be more than happy to. Maybe we may get the chance in the IPTL one year to play together. That would be his decision."

Speaking through the IPTL Facebook, video chat, the former Wimbledon champion also added that he would want to play the IPTL in India next year.

“I have never had a chance to go to India before, but I am hoping to go to Indian next year.” The World no.2 also added also termed Indian Aces’ Rafael Nadal as his favourite rival on the ATP Tour.

"I do really enjoy playing Rafa Nadal," Murray said. "My record against him hasn't been so good. But I think we normally play quite entertaining matches and I always enjoy playing him."
