WATCH: A 21 pass goal! CFL's Railway FC produce a world class team effort strike

THE CALCUTTA FOOTBALL LEAGUE has produced one more goal that's world class and a contender for being the goal of the season in Indian football.

About two weeks ago, Saikat Sarkar of Aryan FC scored an amazing bicycle kick goal that was sent up for a FIFA Puskas Award consideration. Now, Railway FC have produced a team goal against Bhawanipore FC that's turning heads all over the country.

In the CFL Premier Division Group B game, Railway took the led just after the half hour mark through a goal that saw them pass around the ball among themselves 21 straight times, moving back and forth, keeping possession through tackles, create a hole in Bhawanipore's defence and set up a position-conscious Satyen Roy for a spectacular finish.

The goal is being celebrated across Kolkata football, and being touted as an example that even at state level, clubs that usually don't even dream of competing with the big boys in ISL and I-League can still produce beautiful football.

It's drawing comparisons with Mohun Bagan's famous 23 pass goal during the 2019-20 season that was showcased by AIFF as an example of Indian football's improvement in quality.

Although Railway FC lost the game to the still-unbeaten Bhawanipore FC by 2-1, and they are fighting to stay above the relegation round mark in the points table, this is one goal that's likely to make this season memorable for them regardless of how it ends.
