INDIA'S CAMPAIGN IN Japan Open 2023 came to an end when Lakshya Sen crashed out of the men's singles semi-finals.
Taking on Jonathan Christie, Lakshya put up a competitive display but ended up in a 21-15, 13-21, 21-16 loss.
Other major Indian shuttlers, like HS Prannoy and PV Sindhu, were knocked out at an earlier stage.
Despite the loss, Sen's continued good form is fast sealing his status as the best performing singles shuttler in India at the present.
