PV SINDHU LOST TO world number one shuttler Akane Yamaguchi in the semi-finals of Canada Open Super 500 badminton tournament.
Yamaguchi made realitvely quick work of the Indian ace, beating her 14-21, 15-21 in straight games.
Sindhu's loss has ended her singles campaign, leaving Lakshya Sen as the only Indian still going in the competition. Sen, who defeated Kenta Nishomoto in the semi-finals, will face off with China's Li Shi Fang in the men's final.
