Star Australian batsman Steve Smith is likely to return for the second ODI between England and Australia today at Manchester.
Smith was forced to miss the opening game of the series due to blow he received on the head in the nets. He was rested as a precautionary measure.
If Smith walks into the team today, Marcus Stoinis will be the unlucky one to miss out.
Smith should also bat at his regular position of No. 3.
Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc who was regularly seen stretching his legs in the first ODI might be rested for this game.
If the left armer doesn't feature in today's game, he could get replaced by another seamer Kane Richardson.
