HYDERABAD FC ARE REPORTEDLY entering a partnership with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund for youth level talent development.
The ISL franchise is about to start its second competitive season in 2020-21 and has been in the process of getting their youth programmes running in full swing.
Dortmund, who are known for their youth setup back in Germany and in the recent years they have taken a keen interest in Indian youth football.
The Bundesliga club will work closely with the Hyderabad FC personnel and also provide coaching staff who will visit the Telangana capital to work on grassroot projects and HFC's youth teams.
In the future, the most promising youth players may be sent to Dortmund to receive advanced training and further exposure to competition.
Once the restrictions related to COVID-19 ease up the youth operations of HFC are expected to take on their full swing, with the partnership hard at work on the ground to revive the city's enthusiasm about the sport.
