UFC Orlando Results: Jeremy Stephens knocks Out Josh Emmett, Andrade outclasses Torres
JEREMY STEPHENS SECURED A HUGE win at UFC Orlando by knocking out Josh Emmett in the first round. Stephens survived an early knockdown and came back strongly to secure the win.
Although there was some confusion regarding a potential illegal knee from Stephens towards the end of the fight, it did not impact the decision. In the co-main event of the night, Jessica Andrade got the better of Tecia Torres. Andrade improved her standing in the Strawweight division by picking up a unanimous decision victory.
Ilir Latifi gave a strong performance against OSP and went home with a first-round submission victory via guillotine. Elsewhere, on the main card, Max Griffin managed to derail the momentum of Mike Perry via a unanimous decision win.
Brian Kelleher’s win over Renan Barao was the highlight of the undercard. The fight was an all-out brawl and Kelleher’s win added the upset factor as well.
