I'd like to give Sunil Chhetri a Myanmar passport jokes Myanmar Coach Zeise

THE AWAY GAME between Myanmar and India was in favour of India but the result was no indicator of the strong performance put up by the home team Myanmar.

Myanmar Coach Zeise took question in today's pre-match press conference. He made reference to the game between India and Myamar and pointed the lack of finishing from his team to the defeat. He stated,

"We lost 1-0 to India at home but we were the better team... we missed many of our chances that led to that result. We'll try to get a better result tomorrow."

On Indian players to watch for game tomorrow, he spoke about being wary about skipper Sunil Chhetri,

"India captain Sunil Chhetri is the danger man. He's a cool guy... I'd like to give him a Myanmar passport. We'll have to watch out for his counters"

Coach Zeise was not very pleased with the facilities provided by the Indian team and pointed out the same in the pre-match conference. The German shared,

"I don't want to complain but compared to the facilities we offered to Indian team in Myanmar, our accommodation is poor... they have made the food better now but internet connection continues to be very poor"

Providing an update on the injuries hitting his team, Myanmar Coach Gerd Zeise said,

"We have two major injuries in the squad. Right winger Min Min Thu and left back Hein Thiha Zaw. We did not bring them on the trip."

One of the reasons, the last meeting between the two teams ended in a clean sheet for India, was the less than ideal finishing of the Myanmar players. Coach Zeise further stressed on that issue of finishing.

"We have a disease of missing opportunities. We need too many chances to get goals. I keep telling my players, in games like this, you get one chance, and you must have the nerve to score."

India already have qualified for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup and Myanmar are still can pick the remainder of the qualification spots with a good result in Goa tomorrow. Zeise's said his aim was to get a decent result against India. He concluded his statement saying,

"I saw the pitch at Fatorda Stadium. It's beautiful, makes you want to play. I hope boys will agree with me and put on a great show. We want some points here before we take on Kyrgyzstan to try and qualify for Asian Cup"

India take on Myanmar in a 8 pm kick off tomorrow.
