Kohli, Bumrah continue to lead ICC T20I rankings, India remain fifth

INDIA SKIPPER Virat Kohli and paceman Jasprit Bumrah continue to remain on top of the ICC T20I batting and bowling rankings respectively.

The prolific batsman ended the three-match series as the highest run-getter, with 103 runs. On the other hand, Bumrah was India’s highest and overall third highest wicket-taker in the series. The promising seamer has 724 points to his name and is chased by Pakistan’s Imad Wasim who has got 719, in the second spot.

Meanwhile, the ranking of the blue did not change despite beating the New Zealand 2-1. However, the BlackCaps, who had come into the series as the no.1 T20I team, lost their spot to Pakistan. And, India moved closer to England, leaving the deficit to a few decimal points.
