AFC Cup 2017: Three Bengaluru FC debuts to expect in the first leg of Inter-Zonal semis

AS THE RUNNERS-UP OF THE AFC CUP, the club from Bengaluru will play their first competitive game with a fairly new squad. With Bengaluru FC taking the plunge into Indian Super League waters, they were compelled to let go of their entire squad and were allowed to keep just two senior players and the Under 21 players and pick majority of their Indian players from the ISL Player Draft.

Although the ISL does not begin until November, BFC were the most affected team by the re-building of the entire squad. This being as they were only team to be playing in the advanced stage of prestigious continental-level AFC Cup.

But BFC have planned things well and assembled a squad that looks pretty competitive. In this article, we look at possible debuts that could be seen in the home leg of the AFC Cup semi-final on August 23. Well, we must say the team has great competition internally for every position.
