Gurpreet Singh Sandhu

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu

The over six feet keeper is more or less certain to start for the AFC Cup runners-up in the home leg. It was quite dramatic the way his signing was complete by the club getting him from Norwegian Club Stabaek FC in a transfer-day deadline. It was clear that BFC needed a first eleven goalkeeper and that explained the big rush to get Sandhu's signature on a one year deal.

No doubt his time at the Norway has worked wonders on the technical abilities making him the number one choice of the national team. His lack of first team games is probably one of the biggest reasons for the move. At Bengaluru FC, he is already part of the continental championship squad, of course that does not come close to the Europa league, but playing the game and just being part of the squad makes all the difference.
