BENGALURU BULLS overcame Telugu Titans 31-21 following a dominating display at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on July 30.
Two minutes into the game, Rahul Chaudhari etched his name in the record books as he completed 500 points in the league. Before the 4th minute time-out, Ajay Kumar and Rohit Kumar earned two raid points to make scores were level at 2-2. Soon after, Rohit Kumar made consecutive successful raids to form a 2-8 lead just 10 minutes into the game. The first half saw Rahul Chaudhari warming the bench for most of the time.
The half ended 10-15 in Bulls’ favor as the hosts managed just one defence point against the valiant Ajay Kumar and Rohit Kumar. Veteran all-rounder Rakesh Kumar led the defensive charge as his raiders failed to make their raids count. 10 minutes into the second half, the Bulls led 21-15 and continued to display an impressive all-round performance. Courtesy of Mohsen Maghsoudlou’s unsuccessful raid and Ajay Kumar’s successful one, Bulls increased their lead by 12 points at full-time and denied the Mumbai outfit a solitary point.
