Albino Gomes

Last season, his choice of club really had a lasting impression on his career. Albino had finished his Indian Super League season playing for Mumbai City FC and he was on the way to Minerva Punjab FC for the new I-League season.
His fellow Mumbai City buddy Ashutosh Mehta and friend Jayesh Rane convinced Albino to sign for Aizawl FC rather than Minerva Punjab. Little did he know that he would go on to lift the I-League in his very first year at the club.

It was not just winning the title that put him in the spotlight, but it were his stellar performances under the bar. Albino was not the first choice at Mumbai City but seeing his potential at Aizawl FC, he will certainly attract interest by many at the ISL Draft. There is little doubt that he has proven himself to claim being the first choice in whichever team he is part of.
