Former International football stars Kanu and Cambiasso to be present at the FIFA U-17 World Cup draw

THE OFFICIAL DRAW to divide 24 teams in 6 groups will be organised in Mumbai on July 7. FIFA under 17 World Cup is less than 93 away and the excitement keeps building as the tournament draws closer.

Yesterday, Padma Shri awardee PV Sindhu confirmed that she would be present at the official draw event. Today, two international football stars are also confirmed to be there at the draw on July 7th. Esteban Cambiasso and Nwankwo Kanu will be the big stars at the draw.

Cambiasso, the Argentine playmaker played for well-known clubs around the world like Inter Milan, Real Madrid, River Plate and Olypiacos. He has over 60 international caps for the Argentina national team.

Nwankwo Kanu or better known as Kanu, is a Nigerian forward who played club football in countries like England, Holland and Italy. He is renowned for his goals for Ajax, Arsenal and Inter Milan. The over 6 feet striker has also played in other clubs like Portsmouth and West Browmich Albion. Kanu has made close to 90 appearances for the Nigerian national side after playing in the youth national sides of Under 17 and Under 23.
