One of the reasons why people want to see Cub Swanson fight Max Holloway is the four-fight streak that Swanson is on. Swanson defeated the likes of Hacran Dias, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Doo Ho Choi and Artem Lobov to build up his four-fight winning streak.

All of these wins came via unanimous decision but most importantly, all these opponents are placed outside the top ten. Though the UFC rankings are barely considered in most cases, it does matter to an extent when we are comparing two fighters like Swanson and Frankie. As per the rankings, Swanson is currently fourth when Edgar is second, just behind Aldo.
