Volkan Oezdemir vs Misha Cirkunov
Oezdemir surprised many in his debut against veteran Ovince St. Preux a couple of months ago, when he stood toe-to-toe against the former title challenger and beat him in the striking department. His ability to walk through danger and try and get his shots in against a very dangerous striker didn't go unnoticed as he got booked against yet another prospect in the division, the recently resigned Cirkunov.
Cirkunov who is an excellent grappler and a submission artist will be looking to take the fight to the ground, where he has a distinct advantage over Oezdemir. His lanky frame and excellent sweeps should see him control the action when there and honestly, I see a finish coming the moment the fight hits the mat. Oezdemir will have a striker's chance for sure, but I see this fight as Cirkunov's to lose.
