Play by Play: Albino the saviour for Aizawl; Churchill late surge not enough to beat Aizawl

EARLY SAVES BY ALBINO set the tone for the game as the Churchill Brothers piled on pressure throughout the game and Albino was equal to it everytime.

Kamo made the most of a rare defensive lapse by Churchill to slot home the opener. Churchill were undeterred as Brandon's accuracy kept Albino at his best. At one end there was Brandon and the other had Kamo who got a second of a neat attacking play from Aizawl's left.

There seemed no way past Albino but a couple of tactical substitutions by Derick Periera worked to its charm as it got Churchill the deserved goal. Albino was beaten finally from a great team work and Wolfe and Anthony the substitute scoring past the Aizawl keeper's right. There was a flurry of attacks after that goal by Churchill that made Aizawl vulnerable at the back and coneceding another.

But Ralte's super finish gave Aizawl the soothing they needed and they finished the match confidently after that.
