UFC Phoenix: BJ Penn wants the 145 pound title

BJ PENN, WHO WILL MAKE HIS RETURN at UFC Phoenix, said that he will be going after the 145 pound title.

Penn will face Yair Rodriguez in the headliner of UFC Fight Night Phoenix and had the following to say.

“I’m all in. We’re going for the 145-pound title. When we get that title, I’ll sit down with my friends, family and trainers and talk about what’s next – talk about the future. A man’s mind changes from time to time. But 100 percent, we’re going to go for that belt first.” he said.

Penn is fighting for the first time in around two and a half years and has not won a fight since 2010. Rodriguez meanwhile has a seven-fight winning streak to showcase.
