DSK STARTED OFF MOST DANGEROUS OF THE TWO teams and sawa most of the ball in the first half. Mumbai struggled to catch up with DSK's speedy players. But as the game went on, Mumbai got into their rhythm and slowly started to put together mulltiple passes and some penetrative moves. Against the run of play, Thoi Singh brilliantly struck from a good distance away from the goal to find the bakc of the net.

DSK continued pressing and finding gaps in Mumbai's defenc, needed to be more clinical in finishing to outperform the stand out Kattimani. The second half began with DSK playing cautiously and Mumbai playing a much more composed side. THey started to play more in the midfield and spread out the game. DSK did not show the same movements which saw Mumbai struggle against with. Mumbai got a few strikes from close range but the passing accuracy needed to be reached in order to turn a good move to a goal.
