Amanda Nunes now owns a string of Divisional records after her win at UFC 207

AMANDA NUNES GOT THE BETTER OF RONDA ROUSEY at UFC 207. She successfully defended her title in the process and Nunes has also shaken up some divisional records thanks to her win.

With the win, Nunes became only the second fighter in the division to successfully defend the Bantamweight gold with Ronda Rousey being the other name.

Nunes also has the longest active streak in the division with five wins in a row. She was last defeated by Cat Zingano back in 2014 and has stacked up wins against Shayna Baszler, Sara McMann, Valentina Shevchenko, Miesha Tate and of course, Ronda Rousey.

The seven wins that she has in the UFC Bantamweight division is also the highest number in the division’s history. Apart from these, Nunes is also tied with Rousey when it comes to the most knockout and stoppage wins in the division.
