Jasprit Bumrah moves up to no.2 in the latest ICC T20I bowler rankings
INDIA PACEMAN Jasprit Bumrah has jumped to second position, 46 points behind Trinidadian leggie Samuel Badree, as per the new ICC T20I bowler rankings. Before the commencement of India’s tour to Zimbabwe, Bumrah was ranked eight.
After convincingly whitewashing the Zimbabwe side in three-match ODI series, the young Indian side led by MS Dhoni overcame the hosts 2-1 in a three-match T20 series. And, Bumrah was once again impressive, picking up five wickets in three games.
Meanwhile, after being rested for the Zimbabwe tour, India offie Ravichandran Ashwin slipped four places down to the seventh spot while India Test skipper Virat Kohli occupied the numero uno spot in the T20 batsman rankings.
