Nepal to play international friendly against India on June 6

AFTER LEBANON NATIONAL TEAM failed to procure visas for players to play India in a friendly game, India needed to play a game to prepare better for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Kyrgyz Republic. India have managed to arrange a friendly in place of the cancelled game against Lebanon

The India National team will play Nepal National men’s team in an international friendly against on June 6 in Mumbai.

The All India Football Federation approached the ANFA for the friendly. The friendly will be benefitting both the teams as they are preparing for the second matches of the AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifiers.

Nepal is ranked 173 in the latest FIFA ranking while India are 100 in ranking.  Nepal last played Philipines in March this year and ended on losing the game 1-4 away from home. In June, Nepal is set to host Yemen in Asian Nations Cup 2019 Preliminary and that game happends on June 13.

India host Kyrgyz Republic in Bengaluru on June 13.
