The Kiwi batsman has played just eight matches after joining the SRH camp in 2015. After undergoing treatment for the hamstring injury suffered during T20 World Cup, Williamson donned the Orange jersey six-times last season. The 26-year-old scored 124-runs at a strike of 100 in as many games. He had featured in a T20 game against South Africa early this year. However, it wasn’t memorable as he was dismissed after scoring just 13-runs.  

What to expect: The Kiwi skipper can open the innings and if required can also slot down the No.3. He is likely to play the role of a sheet anchor for the defending champs. However, given the myriad options at Sunrisers' disposal, he might also have to make way for some explosive hitters.
