Chris Lynn

Chris Lynn (Retained)

Although widely considered as a big match player, the middle-order Aussie batsman has seen just five matches in five IPL seasons. Lynn was a part of the Deccan Chargers team in 2011 and 2012 but only got to play one match for the team. After warming the bench with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2013 season, Lynn was purchased by KKR at the 2014 Player Auction. Since then, he has played two games in 2014 and two games in 2016. The 26-year-old has been a strong performer in the Big Bash League. In 2016-17 edition, Lynn racked 309-runs in five matches. Playing for Brisbane Heat, he remained unbeaten in three innings scoring 98, 85 and 84.

What to expect: The big hitting Aussie will be a vital cog in KKR’s wheel and should be playing most games, unless injury prevents him. His ability to keep hitting big shots is quite incredible as we saw in this year’s big bash. He is likely to bat no.3-4 and in current form should win a few games for the Knight Riders. Also, he is one of the best catchers in the outfield.
