FantasyCaptains: Our picks for South Africa vs Sri Lanka ODIs
AFTER suffering a shock defeat to the Sri Lankans in the recently concluded T20 series, the South Africans will be keen to turn the tables in the upcoming five-match ODI series. In fact, the hosts have got back all their marquee names in Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock into their scheme of things.
On the other hand, the tourists will miss the services of experienced all-rounder Angelo Mathews and pacer Nuwan Pradeep. The visitors have got some new blokes on the scene and it will be interesting to see how they go in the series.
We expect the conditions to be batting friendly in all the five venues and that will make further put the Proteas batting line-up in the limelight. While we expect the hosts to fire on all cylinders, the Lankan batting might still come under some pressure.
