MATCH PREDICTION: A revamped Bengaluru Blasters to begin their campaign with a win over Delhi



THE SECOND MATCH on the first day of Premier Badminton League season two is between Bengaluru Blasters and Delhi Acers.

The Acers would want to defend their title this season and will look to begin their campaign on a winning note.
Meanwhile, Benglauru who have totally changed the look of their team, adding experience and consistency to their side make them look a stronger side.

The Trump match still continues to be there. Each team strategically selects one of the 5 matches that they play in a Tie as their Trump match. In a Trump match, a victory gives the team a bonus point and a loss gives it a negative point.

The difference is in the point system, from 15 points it is now 11 points game which will make it tricky and challenging for the teams.

TFG analyses and predicts the winner of the match based on a possible line-up of players, as the teams have to announce their team and Trump match only an hour before the game.

The following shuttlers are likely to play against each other in their respective categories; Men's singles: Viktor Axelsen (Bengaluru) vs Jan O Jorgensen (Delhi); Women's singles: Ruthvika Shivani (Bengaluru) vs Nitchaon Jindapon (Delhi); Men's doubles: Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon-Seong (Bengaluru) vs Vladimir Ivanov/Ivan Sozonov (Delhi); Mixed doubles: Pranaav Jerry/Sikk Reddy (Bengaluru) vs Jwala Gutta/Askhay Dewalkar (Delhi); Men's singles: Boonsak Ponsana (Bengaluru) vs Siril Verma (Delhi).

It remains to be seen which matches each team will nominate as their Trump match.

Bengaluru to capitalise on certain shortcomings of defending champions Acers' and therefore will emerge victorious.
