TFG Fantasy Pundit: SA pacers likely to leave the Lankan batsmen clueless at Port Elizabeth
- By TFG Fantasy Sports
- December 25, 2016
Overview
There is more grass on the PE wicket and we think the Lankan batsmen might struggle against South Africa’s quality seam bowlers. Also, the Lankan pace line-up looks unsettled.
Probable 11
SA- Cook, Elgar, Amla, Faf, Duminy, Bavuma, De Kock, Abott, Philander, Maharaj, Rabada
SL- Silva, Karuraratne, Mendis, K Perera, Mathews, Chandimal, D Silva, Pradeep, Herath, Lakmal, Kumara/Chameera
Players who cannot be missed
Amla- He is going through a lean patch, but we get a feeling that he will come good sooner than later.
Rabada- His pace and bounce will make life difficult for the Lankan batsmen.
Mathews- A genuine all-rounder. Don’t forget- he is also declared himself fit to bowl.
Philander- His nagging line and length is bound to get him wickets surely.
Herath- He might not extract much out of the surface, but still his experience will come in handy.
TFG Pundit XI:
BAT- Amla (VC), Karuraratne, Cook, J Mendis
BOWL- Philander(C), Herath, Rabada, Abbott
A/R- Mathews, Duminy
W/K- de Kock
Happy Hunting!!!
