FantasyCaptains: Our picks for the SAvSL Test series

THE South Africans will be taking on the Sri Lankans in a three-match Test series starting on the Boxing Day, 26th December at Port Elizabeth. Currently, the hosts have all the momentum after thrashing the Aussies Down Under in the Tests. Furthermore, their record at home has been pretty impressive too. 

On the other hand, the visitors have won only Test in South Africa and with a young touring party; it will be a huge challenge for them to overcome the mighty Proteas. 

Once again, the likes of Dale Steyn, AB de Villiers and Morne Morkel will miss the series with injuries. For the Lankans, the role of Dinesh Chandimal, Rangana and Angelo Mathews will be huge. 

As far as the conditions go, we expect some assistance for the seamers and the hosts are likely to have a firm grip on the Lankan batters. Also, the tourists don’t have a great bowling line-up, and we feel the Proteas will pile on big scores.
