With 64 caps for the Indian National Team, the ever-reliable Paul will prove a nightmare to get past for the various opposition in store for DSK Shivajians.

Visibly pleased with the signing, First Team Manager Dave Rogers said,

“Subrata Paul for me is the best goalkeeper in India; so to sign him for DSK Shivajians is a real coup for our club. His experience and work ethic in training and in games is second to none, along with his ambition and hunger to succeed means he fits perfectly into the profile and caliber of players I want at this club. His leadership and professionalism will rub off immensely to the rest of our squad and help in the development of our younger goalkeepers. I know he will bring a lot of discipline and enthusiasm on and off the pitch.”
