EB, MB about to pass on Balwant Singh, Churchill return on the cards

PLAYING FOR MOHUN BAGAN last year the India national striker made 5 appearances for the club and scored 2 goals. He also played in the Indian Super League for Chennaiyin FC last year. 

He has asked for a raise in the upcoming season which might be too high to be given to the striker who struggled to make it to the starting line up on many occasions. Injuries woes kept him from playing for Chennaiyin FC in a third season this year. Reports are coming in that Balwant Singh might not interest Mohun Bagan and East Bengal and may end up being absorbed by his former club Churchill Brothers SC.

He played for Churchill in the 2013/14 season and added a massive 10 goals to his tally. Now that Churchill are reinstated into the I-League, Balwant is likely to play for his old club. He shared the following on social media which just makes his case of his joining Churchill more stronger.
