Impressive Bernard Mendy

Mendy has been like a rock in defence. Captaining his side on a number of occasions and with his towering presence in the back line, Mendy has made tackles in the most crucial of times to prevent goal scoring opportunities.

There was an incident in the ill-tempered match with Kerala when there was a confrontation after the game and players lost their cool. Mendy was seen trying to pacify a Kerala player with his arm around him and even got the player to appluad the crowd. That is the kind of leadership Mendy has shown and even managed to add a couple of goals this season.
