Play-by-Play: Carpe diem football at Fatorda -- Goa edge past Chennai in a 9 goal thriller

NO SHORTAGE OF SUSPENSE as to when the next goal would be coming in a game that was as good as watching the highlight of any game. Fantastic watch for the fans but a draw would have been a fair result. Chennaiyin score first and Goa kept coming back to cancel out the lead every single time.

Goa took the lead for once and Raju gave a away a silly penalty for Riise to equalise for Chennaiyin. That looked all when the added time was played out and referee let the play pgo on for the addtional stoppages in injury time. Tavora with a stunner of curling goal from the left side of the box curled it into the far post giving Karanjit no chance to save.

There was still time for Chennaiyin to level when Succi's shot was deflected and it almost mamanged to sneak in the goal but just narrowly missing the post.

Goa held on to the lead for the second time and ended the highest scoring in ISL's history.
