Overview 

We expect conditions to favour the spinners and going by the last Test in Mohali, there is little to suggest that it won’t assist spin bowling. Stuart Broad won’t play this Test and Jos Butler is likely to play. The weather too appears fine for the entire game.

IND- Vijay, KL Rahul, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Patel, Ashwin, Jadeja, Jayant, U Yadav/Ishant, Shami 

ENG- Hameed, Cook, Root, Butler, Stokes, Ali, Bairstow, Woakes, Rashid, Anderson, Ansari/Batty

Players who cannot be ignored 

Kohli- He remains one of the hot picks for this round too. Drop him at your own peril. 

Ashwin- Has been picking wickets at will and has also been brilliant with the bat. 

Rashid- The leggie bowls a lot of overs and also hangs tough with the bat lower down the order. 

Bairstow- He been super consistent for England with the bat and add value with this glove work too. 

Pujara- At No.3, he seems to be liking his role with the bat. Little to suggest that he won’t keep scoring at Mohali.
