Mumbai City FC's most awaited pack of four are here !

THE AFC CAMPAIGN OF BENGALURU FC ended on a high note as they finished runner-ups of the tournament. The end of the AFC campaign also brought good news to the Indian Super League teams who were awaiting the signings to join begin duties back with the squad.

Mumbai City FC will be the biggest gainers with as many as four players adding to the squad. The joining of the four players was made by an announcement made via a press statement issued. Mumbai City FC who are currently top of the ISL points table, would be hoping to make it to the semi finals of the tournament with the freshness and experience of the four players namely Sunil Chhetri, Udanta Singh, Amrinder Singh and Lalchhuanmawia Fanai.

Mumbai City FC head coach Alexandre Guimaraes commenting on the fresh impetus that the team has received said,

“We are delighted to have Sunil, Amrinder, Fanai and Udanta join us. They return from an amazing journey with Bengaluru FC, and their achievements speak highly of their quality and hunger. Having them join us at this key point gives us a huge boost and the entire squad is looking forward to having them join us.”
 

The skipper of the Indian national team Sunil Chhetri shared his view on joining the MCFC campaign saying,

"We've had an incredible experience with Bengaluru FC and now we're extremely excited to join our teammates in the ISL. We have been following Mumbai City FC's progress and the results and performances from the team have been phenomenal. We can't wait to join the coach and the players and hopefully add to the results and give the fans of Mumbai something to cheer for at the end of the season.”
