Shane Carwin and Tatsuya Kawajiri sign for Rizin FF

RIZIN FIGHTING FEDERATION HAS boosted their roster with the addition of former UFC fighters Shane Carwin and Tatsuya Kawajiri. The 41-year-old Carwin will be coming out of retirement for the promotion and would be making his return after a long gap of five years.

He will make his return at the Open Weight World Grand Prix Tournament in December. Meanwhile, Kawajiri is expected to make his debut on either the December 29 or December 31 event of the promotion. Kawajiri had earlier requested his release from UFC, which the promotion accepted.
