FantasyCaptains: Our picks for the IND v NZ ODI series

AFTER DEMOLISHING the Kiwis 3-0 in the recently concluded Test series, the Indian team will now turn their focus towards the five-match ODI series. Although the hosts had a firm grip on the visitors in the longer format of the game, we are unlikely to get a repeat of that in the 50 over format. 

While Kane Williamson will continue leading the Kiwis, the men in blue will be delighted to have their skipper MS Dhoni back in the mix. The first game will get underway on Sunday at the picturesque ground in Dharamsala and we can expect a gripping series from two formidable ODI teams. 

Just like we saw in the Tests, the pitches across all five venues is expected to be a batting beauty. Given the power-packed batting line-up for both teams, we can certainly expect high-scoring contests. Talking about big scores, we feel that is where you should be looking at when it comes to fantasy cricket. 

While the bowlers might still get some handy wickets, we feel that the batsmen are sure to generate more fantasy points throughout the series. Both sides have some marquee names, but like we always do, we pick three candidates between the two teams for the captaincy role in your fantasy teams.
