FantasyCaptains: Our picks for the PAK v WI Test series

AFTER WHITEWASHING the West Indians 3-0 in both the T20 and ODI series, Pakistan will also be keen on clean sweeping the Windies in the five-day format of the game. The Test series will get underway on 13th September and it will also mark the occasion of the debut of Pink ball in the UAE. Although the first game will be played under lights, we don’t see the tourists challenging the hosts. 

The change in the format has also forced both teams to alter their squads for the three Test matches. While the Windies have made quite a few changes by calling specialists, the Pakistanis have stuck to the team that did extremely well in England a few months ago.

We will also see some new faces from both camps making their debuts, but eventually, the series could be decided by how the senior players from both sides go about their business. Now, moving onto fantasy cricket, we expect the batsmen to get you more points as compared to the bowlers. 

The pitches in Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be batting friendly and the top-order batsmen could make merry, especially from the Pakistan camp. Considering the conditions and the weaker Windies bowling, we have picked all three batsmen from the Pakistan team as our captains.
