HUGE SETBACK: Srikanth down with ankle injury, to miss European circuit

A HUGE SET-BACK for men's singles shuttler Kidambi Srikanth as he won't be able to participate in the international circuit due to an ankle injury. The Guntur born lad picked up the injury while playing at the Japan Superseries.

But he was seen at the following tournament, the Korea Open but was ousted in the first round. He has now undergone a surgery and requested rest. He shared an image of his plastered leg on social media.
