Players who cannot be ignored

Steve Smith- He is still the best batsman in the Aussie line-up and better equipped to play on the spinning tracks.

Rangana Herath- The veteran spinner has completely bamboozled the Aussies with this flight, guile and spin.

David Warner- He might have struggled thus far, but given his class a big knock is around the corner.

Mitchell Starc- He has arguably been the best pacer in this series till now. Promises a lot more in Colombo.

Dark Horses

Dilruwan Perera- Can contribute with bat & ball. His brilliant spell with the ball helped the hosts clinch the series.
