TFG Fantasy Pundit: India’s spinners & top-orde batsmen to generate maximum points

Overview 

Whether or not the Windies make changes to their squad, you should stick to the theory of picking 7 players from the Indian camp. The Indians are likely to retain their same 11 from the first Test. The Sabina Park Oval offers bounce and carry for the seamers initially and later on the spinners will once again come into play. Pick the Indian spinners & their top-order batsmen to succeed. 

Our probable 11 

IND- Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin, Mohammad Shammi, Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav 

WI- Kraigg Brathwaite, Rajendra Chandrika/Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich, Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels, Jermaine Blackwood, Leon Johnson, Carlos Brathwaite, Jason Holder, Devendra Bishoo, Shanon Gabriel 

Players who cannot be ignored 

Virat Kohli- After what he did in the first Test in Antigua, it would be a stupid move to drop him. 

R Ashwin- Points with both bat and ball almost guaranteed. Will have a big role to play during the closing stages of the game. 

Amit Mishra- His variations will make life difficult for the Windies batsmen. 

Dark Horses 

Kraigg Brathwaite- He was the only batsman who showed patience and confidence to score runs. A definite value buy. 

Shikhar Dhawan- The southpaw suddenly found form and after what we saw in Antigua, it would be a risky proposition to drop him.
