TFG Fantasy Pundit: Class & variety in the Kiwi bowling will define this round between ZIM & NZ

Overview

For this round of fantasy cricket between Zimbabwe and New Zealand, we would advise you to pick only the recognized players from the home team. Plenty of new faces will appear for the hosts and we wouldn’t recommend you to waste time on their research. The Kiwis have plenty of variety and depth in their bowling and it will be interesting to see how Zimbabwe handles it. Also, given the weak Zimbabwe bowling, the Kiwi batsmen are likely to make merry.

Probable 11 for the round

ZIM- Hamilton Masakadza, Chamu Chibabha, Peter Moor, Craig Ervine, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Richmond Mutumbami, Graeme Cremer, Donald Tiripano, Taurai Muzurbani, Tini Mawayo

NZ- Tom Latham, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, BJ Watling, Mitchell Santner, Doug Bracewell/Neil Wagner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Ish Sodhi

Players who cannot be ignored

Kane Williamson- Arguably the best batsman in the Kiwi line-up and perhaps the best pick as captain in fantasy Tests.

Sean Williams- Even though Zimbabwe has not played Test for long, this southpaw has the experience and the technique to score runs.

Graeme Cremer- The Zimbabwean skipper will be the leader of the attack and he will have a huge role to play as the game progresses.

Dark horses

Ish Sodhi- Has been enjoying his dream run with the ball. His variations can be tough for the hosts to handle.

Tom Latham- He is a very dogged batsman, who will continue to open the innings. Not at all flamboyant, but super effective.

TFG Pundit XI: Craig Ervine, Sean Williams(vc), Richmond Mutumbami, Graeme Cremer, Tom Latham, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson(c), Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Ish Sodhi

Happy Hunting!!!
